ABOUT LOVETTE FLOWERS
Lovette Flowers is a Dorset based wedding florist started six years ago by Claire, creating seasonal, design led flowers for weddings and events across Dorset, Somerset and Devon borders.
My love of seasonal flowers began in my orchard where I started growing and cutting my own and I came to appreciate the beauty of flowers at every stage. The wonky stems, the unexpected shapes and the way each season brings something different. I also love photographing the flowers I grow and work with, capturing their quiet beauty, movement and detail as they change through the seasons.
That early experience still continues to shape everything I do, with focus on natural movement, character and flowers that feel true to their moment and always responding to the time of year and the setting they are in.
Over the past six years, I’ve worked both independently and alongside other florists on weddings and large scale floral installations, developing a signature style rooted in seasonal wedding flowers, natural floral design and effortless, garden inspired arrangements.
Every wedding is approached in a thoughtful and personal way, with bespoke wedding flowers created to feel completely at home in their surroundings.
Sustainability is central to the studio, with flowers grown in Dorset where possible, alongside carefully sourced British flowers and floral foam never used in any designs.
ETHOS
My ethos at Lovette Flowers is rooted in sustainability and care for the natural world.
I grow without the use of pesticides and work without floral foam in any arrangements. Wherever possible, flowers are sourced locally or from trusted British growers, reducing reliance on imported stems.
The aim is to work in a way that is thoughtful, low impact and respectful of the environment at every stage.
If you’re planning a wedding and feel drawn to this way of working with flowers, I’d love to hear more about your plans. Each wedding begins with a conversation. About the setting, the season and the atmosphere you’d like to create. You’re very welcome to get in touch
